They are in no particular order of importance but roughly in order of publishing. These are from Monday, October 10th, 2022, to Sunday, October 16th, 2022.

Many areas suffered from the floods in the morning which paralyzed many main roads. The rain has continued throughout the day.
The landslides were found on the Kathu – Na Koh Road in Kathu, at the entrance of the Giant Hill (Khao Yak) in Kamala, and on Patong hill. Traffic was blocked by soil and large rocks which came down from nearby hills.
He was found with a handgun loaded with seven bullets and an additional 8 bullets in his pockets.
This incident comes as Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-O-Cha has ordered a nationwide crackdown on illegal drugs and illegal guns following a tragic mass shooting in Nong Bua Lamphu this month.
3. A video clip of a taxi driver arguing with other road users has gone viral in social media.
The taxi driver lowered his car window before shouting expletives and rude words to other drivers who did not move out of his way.
The taxi driver is facing charges with using Category 1 Drugs and using them while driving.
His driving license for driving taxis has been revoked. He is unable to drive any taxi for three years before the possible renewal of his taxi driving license.
4. Phuket plans to temporarily move the Heroine Monument following road and area renovation projects.
The province plans to move the monument to the Thalang National Museum while the Heroine ancestors and locals want to move the monument to the Phra Nang Sang Temple. However, the finally decision will be concluded in the near future.
The construction costs are anticipated to be 2.36 billion baht. The underpass will have three lanes and go underneath the Thao Thep Krasattri and Thao Si Sunthon’s monument to ease traffic around the Pier intersection.
5. Phuket is expecting to generate at least two billion baht over this long four-day holiday weekend.
The Phuket Tourism Authority Office said., “About 152,691 visitors are in Phuket during these long holidays.”
