UPDATE: Driving license of viral Phuket taxi driver in road rage video who admits he took methamphetamine revoked for three years

The driving license of a taxi driver who has admitted that he took some methamphetamine pills before an argument with road users caught on viral video has been revoked.

Now update:

Mr. Kornpitak Artsuwan from the Phuket Land Transport Office told the Phuket Express, “The taxi driver who was shouting expletives and rude words to other drivers will be fined up to 5,000 baht. He also faces charges for using Category 1 Drugs and using them while driving.”

“His driving license for driving taxis has been revoked. He is unable to drive any taxi for three years before the possible renewal of his taxi driving license,” Mr. Kornpitak added.
