Phuket Tourist Police Investigates Russian Allegedly Working Illegally at Tour Booth

The Phuket Tourist Police inspected a tour booth in Patong after they were notified by concerned citizens that a Russian was allegedly working illegally selling tour packages.

The Phuket Tourist Police told the Phuket Express that over the past weekend they and the Phuket Tourist Assistance Center (TAC) inspected a tour booth which is located in front of a hotel on the Phang Mueang Sai Kor Road.

The inspection followed after the Phuket Tourist Police were notified from a concerned citizen that a Russian national was allegedly working illegally selling tour packages at the tour booth. However, police did not find any foreigner selling tour packages at the tour booth but said they would keep an eye on the booth in question.
