Teenager Arrested with 201 Methamphetamine Pills in Phuket

Phuket –

A teenager was arrested with 201 methamphetamine pills in Rawai, Mueang Phuket.

The Chalong Police told the Phuket Express that earlier this week they arrested a 16-year-old male teenager at the Thai Mai Village in Rawai. Seized from him were 201 methamphetamine pills. The name of the suspect was withheld due to his age.

According to Chalong Police, illegal drug networks usually use teenagers to deliver drugs. They give drugs to teenagers and after the teenagers are addicted, they will do delivery jobs for drug dealers. When they were arrested, as they are still teenagers, they face minor legal action as opposed to adults due to being juveniles. Most of them are aged from 13 to 16-years-old, added the Chalong Police.
