Man Arrested with Methamphetamine in Rawai

A man was arrested with methamphetamine pills in Rawai, Mueang Phuket.

The Mueang Phuket District Chief Mr. Pairoj Srilamun told the Phuket Express that earlier this weekend they inspected Tai Mai Village in Rawai for which they had received many complaints that the area was used by a lot of drug users and dealers.

They arrested Mr. Charin Bang Jark, 20. Seized from him were 20 methamphetamine pills. He was taken to the Chalong Police Station and Mr. Charin is facing charges of illegal possession of a category 1 drug with intent to sell.

He has admitted to the charge as of press time.
