Two Turtles Found Dead on Beaches in Phang Nga

Two sea turtles were found dead on beaches in Phang Nga.

Staffers at the Khao Lampi Hat Thai Mueang National Park told the Phuket Express that this week they were notified from local residents that two sea turtles were found dead.

The first one was found outside the national park area. The dead turtle was still young and was 33 centimeters wide and 59 centimeters long. Its gender could not be identified. No wounds were found on the outside of the turtle.

The second turtle was found inside the national park area. She was a female adult at 54 centimeters wide and 102 centimeters long.

Both of them had started to decompose. They were buried on the beaches.
