UPDATE: Police Remind the Public of Prohibited Times for Large Vehicles on Patong Hill

Patong –

Police have reminded the public about the prohibitive times for large vehicles being allowed on Patong Hill after two people were pronounced dead after a truck driver lost control and slammed into a pickup.

CCTV footage shows the truck lost control coming down the hill before crashing into the pickup truck which was coming up the hill.

Now for the update:

The Patong Police has issued a reminder of the provincial order which was issued on December 21st of last year. Large vehicles (Big trucks and buses) are banned from 6:00 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. and from 4:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. on Patong Hill.

The tragic accident was a major discussion point on Thai social media.
