  1. Seven people have been arrested for allegedly illegally processing cannabis buds on Bangla Road and Soi Sane Sabai in Patong.
    They are being accused of processing controlled herbs (cannabis buds) without permission.
  2. Phuket tourism has rapidly recovered but 17,000 staffers are still needed as more foreign tourists are coming.

Chinese tourists are coming back and a new and growing tourist market are Kazakhstani tourists.

3. An illegal bar on Bangla Road in Patong was raided uncovering underage prostitutes with six victims rescued. Two suspects were arrested who claim the real bar owner is a foreigner.
