Patong Beach Vendor Arrested for Selling Alcohol

A beach vendor was arrested for selling alcohol without a permit on Patong beach on Tuesday (March 26th).

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that at 3:30 P.M. they arrested an unidentified male vendor on Patong Beach. Seized from him were bottles and cans of beer in a box on his motorbike sidecar. The arrest followed after police received a complaint from a concerned citizen.

The suspect was taken to the Patong Police Station to face charges of selling alcohol without a permit. The Phuket Express noted that personal details of the vendor were not released by police.
