Illegal Bar Raided in Patong

A bar was raided in Patong after it was opened without permission.

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that on Saturday (March 23rd) at 11:30 P.M. they raided a bar on the Thaweewong Road in Patong. The bar manager, who was not identified by police, was arrested after being unable to present legal documents to police.

The bar manager was taken to Patong Police Station to face charges of opening an entertainment venue without permission.

Patong Police limited details of the name of the bar, however, citing ongoing legal action.
