Fifteen Foreign Riders Arrested in Patong Breaking Traffic Rules

Fifteen foreign riders have been arrested in Patong this week for breaking traffic rules.

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that they arrested in total 15 foreign riders this week.

Ten of them were unable to present legal driving licenses. Police released their nationalities but not their names:

  1. American man
  2. French man
  3. British man
  4. French man
  5. German man
  6. Chinese man
  7. Czech man
  8. Belgian man
  9. Australian man
  10. Polish man

Three of them were not wearing helmets:

  1. Russian man
  2. Indian man
  3. Polish man

Two Australian men were also arrested for driving on wrong direction.

This is part of an ongoing crackdown on foreigners breaking Thai laws in Phuket.
