Thai Muslims will begin observing Ramadan, the holy month of fasting, on Tuesday, March 12th, 2024 as announced by the Office of Chularajmontri.

Ramadan, the ninth month in the Islamic calendar, is observed by Muslims worldwide. It is a time for spiritual reflection, self-discipline, and fasting from dawn to dusk. During this holy month, Muslims focus on prayer, charity, and abstaining from worldly pleasures to strengthen their connection with God.

The Office of Chularajmontri has designated March 12th, 2024, as the official beginning of the observation.
