Tunisian Man Arrested for Theft in Patong

A 36-year-old Tunisian man was arrested in Patong for theft.

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that on Tuesday (February 20th) they arrested a 36-year-old Tunisian man (His name was not given by Patong Police).

The arrest came after an unidentified victim filed a report to the Patong Police. The victim told police that a male foreign man stole the victim’s belongings at the end of the Bangla Road. (The Patong Police did not reveal any details about the victim).

Police checked CCTV footage before they arrested the suspect. Seized from the Tunisian man was a stolen bag with a mobile phone, 4,480-baht cash, an ATM card and personal documents inside. The Tunisian man was taken to the Patong Police Station to face charges of theft.
