Patong Laundry Thief Arrested

Patong –

A wanted laundry thief was arrested after stealing many clothes from a laundry shop in Patong.

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that on Tuesday (February 13th) they arrested a male suspect, aged 30-years-old. Other personal details were not released by Patong police. Seized from him were many stolen clothes.

On Saturday (February 10th), the owner of a laundry shop on the Phang Mueang Sai Kor Road filed a report to the Patong Police. Customers had previously told the shop owner that their clothes were stolen. CCTV footage at the shop showed that in the early morning, a man took clothes which did not belong to him from the shop.

The Patong Police tracked down the suspect from CCTV footage nearby before he was arrested. He is facing charges of theft.
