Phuket –

The Phuket Police have continued to arrest more Kratom juice vendors.

Our previous story:

On January 20th, 2024, Phuket investigative police captured a kratom juice vendor with a total of 315 bottles in Moo 5, Ratsada, Mueang, Phuket.

Now for the update:

The Thalang Police told the Phuket Express that earlier this week they arrested four Kratom juice vendors in the Thalang areas. However, the police did not release any more details about them.

Police are warning local groceries in Phuket and Thailand that Kratom juice is listed as a controlled herbal product in which any controlled herb product must be given permission by the Thai Food and Drug Administration before selling.

However, Kratom Juice is also not allowed to be an ingredient or mixed into other food or juice for selling. So even pure Kratom Juice in a bottle is not allowed to be sold, especially on public streets.

Anyone who breaks the law shall be imprisoned from six months to two years or fined from 5,000 Baht to 20,000 baht.
