On January 20th, 2024, Phuket investigative police captured a kratom juice vendor with a total of 315 bottles in Moo 5, Ratsada, Mueang, Phuket.
The Phuket police captured a suspect, publicly identified only as Mr. Sak, 44, and confiscated 300 bottles of 1.5-liter kratom juice and 15 bottles of 500-milliliters kratom juice.
According to a report by the police, an anonymous source reported a shop secretly selling kratom juice to teenage groups in Moo 5, Ratsada.
Upon a police investigation, Sak was found allegedly selling kratom juice in bottles to teenagers in the area.
Sak reportedly confessed to police officers that he sold kratom drinks to local teens for 15 and 30 baht for 500-milliliter and 1,500-milliliter bottles, respectively.
Initially, the police pressed charges of selling kratom juice in bottles without permission and escorted the suspect to Mueang Phuket police station for further legal process.
