Saudi Arabian Man Arrested in Phuket for Allegedly Taking Away Minor from Parental Guardian

A Saudi Arabian man was arrested at the Phuket International Airport after he allegedly took away a minor under 18 years of age from their parents.

Phuket Immigration told the Phuket Express that on Friday (January 19th) they arrested a 41-year-old Saudi Arabian man at the international arrivals terminal.

He is being accused of taking away a minor aged more than 15-years-old but not more than 18-years-old from their parents or guardian for obscenity even if consent was given. He was taken back to the Patong Police Station for further legal action.

The suspect’s name and the specifics of the situation have been withheld from the press. The Saudi Arabian man has not released a statement to the press.
