Fire Destroys Multiple Shops in Patong – Video

Patong –

An overnight fire has destroyed about seven shops in Patong.

The Patong Police were notified of the fire at 5:10 A.M. on Tuesday morning (January 9th) at shops opposite a hotel on the Ratch Uthit 200 Pi Road in Patong.

Police, firefighters with four fire engines, and the Phuket Express arrived at the scene to find the fire was heavily ablaze.

It took about half an hour to control the fire. About seven clothing, shoe and bag shops were damaged by the fire.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated as of press time by the Forensic Police and the cost of damages have yet to be estimated. Luckily, there were no injuries.
