Two Undocumented Cambodians Arrested for Selling Eyeglasses on Patong Beach

Two undocumented Cambodian men were arrested after they were found selling eyeglasses on Patong Beach.

The Region 8 Police told the Phuket Express that they were notified from local residents that two undocumented migrants were annoying tourists on Patong Beach. They were trying to sell eyeglasses which caused a public nuisance.

On Saturday (January 6th) the two arrested were identified only as Mr. Ya and Mr. Channy Lay. They were unable to present their passports or any sort of work permit to officers and they were taken to the Patong Police Station to face further legal action and deportation.
