Patong Motorbike Thief Arrested

A motorbike thief was arrested in Patong.

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that earlier this month on December 16th, an unidentified motorbike owner filed a report that their motorbike was parked in front of an apartment on the Taweewong Road in Patong at night. Two hours later, the motorbike disappeared.

Police continued their investigation and checked CCTV nearby. On Wednesday (December 27th) the Patong Police finally arrested the suspect identified only as Mr. Joy, 37. Seized from him was the stolen motorbike from Patong. Police also seized two other stolen motorbikes in Wichit and in Phuket City from him. He was taken to the Patong Police Station to face multiple charges of theft.
