Fire spread on a grass field in Kamala alarmed residents.

Firefighters from the Kamala Administrative Organization were notified of the fire at 9:30 P.M. on Friday night (December 22nd) at a coconut field on the No.4030 main road in Kamala near the Phuket Fantasy.

The first responders arrived at the scene with a fire engine to find the fire ablaze spreading on a grass field. It took about half an hour to control the fire. Witnesses said someone lit fireworks before the fire started.
