Fire Damages Snooker Club in Kathu

A fire has damaged a snooker club in Kathu. No injuries were reported.

Lieutenant Colonel Natthaya Supannapong from the Kathu Police was notified of the fire at a snooker club near a university in Kathu on Monday (December 18th).

Fire fighters with fire engines arrived at the scene to find lots of smoke was coming out from the snooker club. The fire was quickly placed under control to prevent any spread to nearby businesses. No injuries were reported.

Snooker tables inside the venue were heavily damaged by the fire although the exact estimated cost of damages was not released by relevant agencies or the venue owner, who wasn’t identified. The cause of the fire is still being investigated by the forensic police as of press time and not yet determined.
