Fire Damages Sedan in Phuket Town, Third Car in One Week – Video

A fire damaged a sedan in Phuket Town which is the third car fire in one week.

Fire fighters from the Phuket City Municipality were notified of the fire on the Surin Road near the Phuket City Municipality Office in Talad Yai sub-district on late Friday night (December 15th).

They arrived at the scene with a fire engine to find the sedan was a heavily ablaze. It took about 15 minutes to control the fire. The front part of the sedan was damaged by the fire. The driver, whose name was not released to the press, said when the fire started, he stopped the sedan and ran away. As a result, no injuries were reported.

This is third car fire in only one week in the area.
