The first annual Kata – Karon Carnival was launched to boost local tourism.

The Kata Karon Carnival is being held from Tuesday (December 12th) to Thursday (December 14th) in Karon.

Now for the update:

The carnival was launched by the Phuket Vice Governor Sattha Thongkam at the Nong Harn Lake Public Park on Tuesday (December 12th). Governor Sattha said the first annual Kata – Karon Carnival is aimed to boost local tourism in Kata and Karon. More Thai and foreign tourists will know that there are many places in Phuket to visit including Kata and Karon.

There are many activities such as traditional Thai performances, local singers and music bands, cabaret shows, fantasy parades, many food stalls and more. Many Thais and foreigners watched the carnival parade.
