Phuket –
Phuket is currently welcoming more than 40,000 passengers at the airport per day before the New Year.
The Phuket Tourism and Sports Chief Mrs. Ratchadaphon Oin told the Phuket Express that about 40,000 passengers arrived at the Phuket International Airport daily, both domestic and international arrivals. This year there were nine million visitors in total.
During the long weekend from December 9th to December 11th there were many Thai and foreign tourists who visited Phuket. At the same time the 37th Phuket Carnival 2023 was held in Patong where many Thai and foreign tourists were interested and attended.
Phuket Old Town also attracts a lot of tourists due to attractions such as the Chartered Intersection, Thalang Road, and Soi Rommanee.
