UPDATE: Missing Boy’s Body Found in Thalang Lagoon

The body of a missing boy was found at a lagoon in Sri Soonthorn after seven hours of searching.

Our previous story:

One boy has been rescued from drowning while another boy is still missing at a lagoon in Sri Soonthorn.

Now for the update:

The Thalang Police told the Phuket Express that at 9:05 P.M. on Tuesday night (December 5th) they were notified from rescue divers that they finally found the missing boy’s body. The body was identified as Mr. W, 16, full name withheld due to his age. No wounds were found on his body. His mother was present at the scene upon the discovery and his body was taken to the Thalang Police Station.

It took seven hours for rescue divers to search for the body because there are many tree roots in the lagoon which obstructed to the search. It was reported that Mr. Warut was fishing at the lagoon before accidentally falling into the lagoon and drowning.
