One Boy Rescued from Drowning, One Still Missing in Thalang Lagoon

One boy has been rescued from drowning while another boy is still missing at a lagoon in Sri Soonthorn.

Emergency responders were notified of the incident at 1:40 P.M. on Tuesday (December 5th) at a lagoon in the Bang Maruan village.

The first responders arrived at the scene to find a young Myanmar boy who had been pulled up from the water by local residents. He was rushed to a nearby hospital and was expected to recover.

A Thai boy is still missing in the lagoon as of press time. Rescue divers who were called to the scene are searching for the missing boy. The two boys are reportedly aged around 10 -12 years old.

Their names were withheld due to their age and the circumstances behind them being in the lagoon were not released to the Thai press.
