Our previous story:

Patong Officials have warned road users about a collapsed road on the Patong Hill.

Now for the update:

The Phuket Highway Office told the Phuket Express that the collapsed road had been caused by water erosion under the road. The road is now being fixed for at least three days from Wednesday (November 29th) to Friday (December 1st), 2023.

One of the lanes was temporarily closed to traffic which has caused heavy traffic to be tailed back especially during rush hours. Relevant officials have apologized for the inconvenience.
