Twenty-one People Arrested in Patong in Seven Days Crime Crackdown

The Patong Police arrested 21 suspects in 15 separate cases during a seven days of crime crackdown campaign before the recent Loy Krathong Day.

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that from November 20th to November 26th, 2023, they arrested 21 suspects in 15 separate cases which are:

  • Ten suspects in five cases involved in illegal drugs
  • One person who offended an entertainment venue law with one suspect.
  • Two people involved in two cases with offenses involving illegal online gambling.
  • One person who offended firearm and ammunition laws.
  • Four people in three cases offending alcohol laws.
  • One person offending custom laws.
  • Two cases with two people offending public health laws.

The Phuket Express noted the Patong Police did not reveal specific details of thecases and people they arrested.
