Patong –

A Russian tourist has sustained minor injuries after a Thai couple got into a physical argument on the Bangla Road in Patong.

The Phuket Tourist Police told the Phuket Express that they were notified that a Thai couple were verbally arguing at an entertainment venue on the Bangla Road on Tuesday night (November 28th).

The couple “accidentally” threw a glass of whisky at a Russian tourist at an entertainment venue during their argument. The Russian tourist then sustained minor head injuries. The Thai woman in the argument finally agreed after debate with all sides involved to pay financial compensation for the entertainment venue and provide financial aid for medical treatment for the Russian tourist.

The Phuket Express noted the Phuket Tourist Police did not reveal any details, such as the names of both the Russian tourist and the Thai couple.
