Myanmar Motorbike Rider Arrested with Bearing Scraper and Methamphetamine Pills in Patong

Patong –

An undocumented Myanmar motorbike rider was arrested in possession of a bearing scraper and methamphetamine pills in Patong.

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that this past weekend they arrested a 30-year-old Myanmar man near the Baan Kha Lueang Intersection on the 50-Years-Road. Police found two methamphetamine pills and a bearing scraper in his bag.

He was taken to the Patong Police Station to face charges of using illegal category 1 drugs, carrying a weapon in public without legal permission, and being an illegal alien who entered the country without permission.

The name of the suspect was not released by Patong Police.
