A cannabis shop owner was arrested after allegedly selling illegal cannabis buds at a cannabis shop in Patong.

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that on Friday night (November 17th) they arrested an unidentified owner at a cannabis shop on the Phra Baramee Road. Police seized 63 grams of cannabis buds.

The owner was taken to the Patong Police Station to face charges of selling and transforming controlled herbs (cannabis buds) without legal permission. The Phuket Express noted the Patong Police did not give any further details about the owner or the name of the shop.
