Patong –
A Myanmar woman was arrested after she was found working illegally at a bar on the Bangla Road.
The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that on Friday night (November 17th) they arrested a Myanmar woman at a bar on the Bangla Road in Patong. She was taken to the Patong Police Station to face charges of working without permission.
The arrest followed after police were notified by an anonymous concerned citizen that there was a foreigner was working at the bar. Police went to the bar before recording video of the Myanmar woman while she was working at the bar.
The Phuket Express note that the Patong Police did not give any other detail about the Myanmar woman including her name.
