The construction of a glass terrace at Surin Beach has started which is expected to be finished in the next two years.

Now for the update:
The construction finally started on Thursday (November 9th). The official ceremony was launched by the Phuket Vice Governor Amnuay Pinsuwan and the President of the Phuket Provincial Administration Organisation (PPAO) Mr. Rewat Areerob. The main tribute pole was placed at the construction site.
Vice Governor Amnuay told Thai media, “The total budget is 198 million baht. It is expected that the project will be completed in the next two years from now. The glass terrace at Surin Beach will be a new landmark to attract more tourists to Cherng Talay, Thalang, and Phuket. The project will be under the combination idea of the sea and Phuket local lives.”
“The project covers nine Rai plots of land which is designed by the Phisut Technology Company. There will be two 360 degree viewpoints where people can also watch the sunset in the evenings.”
