Glass terrace construction at Surin Beach in Thalang expected to start this December

The construction of a glass terrace at Surin Beach in Thalang is expected to be started this December.

Phuket is planning to build a sky walk in Rawai and a glass terrace at Surin Beach in Thalang.

A meeting was held earlier this week for a public hearing in Cherng Talay sub-district and was led by the President of the Phuket Provincial Administration Organisation (PPAO) Mr. Rewat Areerob, and the Cherng Talay Administrative Chief Officer Mr. Manod Panchalard.

The President of the Phuket Provincial Administration Organisation (PPAO) Mr. Rewat Areerob told The Phuket Express, “The meeting was aimed to listen to ideas of residents and business operators in Cherng Talay which will be used to improve the design. The project will not have a negative affect to the environment and local life nearby.” Rewat stated.”

“The glass terrace at Surin Beach will be a new land mark to attract more tourists to Cherng Talay, Thalang and Phuket which will generate more income.”

“The full design will be completed by this December. It is expected that the construction can be started at the end of this year with a 139 million baht budget. The glass terrace will allow tourists to see the beautiful views of Surin Beach and Cherng Talay though glass.” Rewat concluded.

Meanwhile residents in Rawai have agreed with a sky walk project at Khao Daeng (Red Hill) in Rawai near Phrom Thep Cape, Mueang Phuket district.
