UPDATE: Phuket Resident Who Arrived Home From Israel Explains How He Survived

Phuket –

A man from Phuket who safely arrived at Phuket International Airport from Israel explained how he survived and finally left Israel.

Our previous story:

The Thalang District Chief Mr. Bancha Tanuin told the Phuket Express that on Friday (October 20th), they welcomed home Mr. Natthaphorn Hongsa at the airport.

Now for the update:

Mr. Natthaphorn, 25, told the Phuket Express. “I lived near the Gaza Strip. Since the beginning of the war with Hamas this month, me and my friends escaped from where we lived after one of the three walls to the strip near us was attacked.”

“I carried nothing with me but the clothes I was wearing. Other belongings, including my mobile phone, were taken away or lost. Luckily, we escaped Hamas and hid for many days until Israeli soldiers helped us out from the area. They took us and some Thai workers to stay at a shelter which is about 30 kilometers from the war zone . I was unable to contact anyone including my family,” Mr. Natthaphorn explained.

“Some of the Thai workers who still had mobile phones saw news on Facebook that Thailand would send airplanes to pick up Thai workers. We gathered money to hire a vehicle to take us to a hotel shelter in Tel Aviv before I safely arrived home. After this, my family won’t let me return to Israel,” Mr. Natthaphorn added.
