Teenager Detained for Playing With Fireworks on Patong Beach

Phuket –

A teenager was taken to the Patong police station after he played with fireworks on Patong Beach.

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that they were notified of the incident by a hotel operator at Patong Beach. Fireworks were being played with at the beach which caused a public nuisance.

Police arrived at the beach to find the 14 year-old boy with the fireworks. He was taken to Patong Police Station. His parents were called and his behavior has been recorded. His name was withheld due to his age.

The Patong Police requested the public to please call them at 076-342-769 if anyone sees fireworks being played on Patong beach.
