Bar Raided in Thalang for Selling Alcohol Past Legal Closing Time

A bar in Thalang was raided for selling alcohol past the legal closing time.

Thalang District Officers led by the Thalang Administrative Chief Officer Mr. Panjapong Boonjan and the Sakoo Police led by Lieutenant Colonel Nopparuj Sukkree raided a bar called ‘Suk Niyom’ in Sakoo, Thalang at 3:00 A.M. on Saturday in the early morning (July 22nd).

Mr. Panjapong told the Phuket Express that the bar was found to be selling alcohol after the legal closing time of 2:00 A.M. The bar owner was taken to the Sakoo Police Station to face charges of selling alcohol past the legal time. The bar owner has reportedly admitted to the charges.
