Bar in Phuket Raided A Second Time for Allegedly Illegally Opening

A bar in Thalang was raided for the second time in a few months following anonymous complaints for allegedly opening past the legal closing time of 2:00 A.M.

A team from the Thalang Police raided a bar in Sri Soonthorn at 3:16 A.M (July 7th) after they received a complaint from a concerned citizen that the bar was open past the legal closing time.

The bar owner, whose name was not given by officers, was taken to Thalang Police Station to face charges of opening the venue without permission and selling alcohol without permission. The owner has admitted to all charges.

The Phuket Express noted that this bar was also raided a few months ago as seen below.
