Bar in Thalang, Phuket Raided for Allegedly Being Illegally Open Late

A bar and lounge in Thalang was raided for allegedly opening a venue without permission and selling alcohol past the legal time of 2 AM.

The Thalang District Chief Mr. Bancha Thanuin told the Phuket Express that on Saturday (April 1st) in the early morning officials raided a bar and lounge in the Sri Soonthorn sub-district.

The exact name of the venue, however, was withheld by police pending a further investigation.

The unnamed manager of the venue is being accused of operating an entertainment venue without permission and selling alcohol past the legal closing time.

The unidentified manager reportedly later admitted to the charges and will pay a fine.
