Four Meter Python Caught in Patong

Patong –

A four meter long python has been caught after reportedly eating an unknown animal in Patong.

A staffer from the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (DDPM) Department at the Patong Municipality told the Phuket Express that on Tuesday (July 11th) they were notified by a resident that a python had been found inside a local home.

Snake catchers arrived at the house to find the four meter long python. The python was full from an unknown meal and unable to escape from the snake catchers, finally being caught.

The Phuket Express noted that it was unknown what the python had eaten. However, the python will be released safely back to a nearby forest.
