Massage Shop in Patong Open Without Permit

Patong, Phuket –

A massage shop in Patong was allegedly open without permission.

The Patong Police told the Phuket Express that on Friday (July 7th) they inspected massage shops on the Rat Uthit 200 Pi Road.

One massage shop owner was unable to present a legal license for operating a massage service. The owner was taken to the Patong Police Station for further legal action. (Details of the owner were not given by police).

About 80 local massage vendors in Phuket protested at the Phuket City Hall complaining about massage shops which were allegedly being invested in by foreigners operating with much lower prices, hurting their business.
