Sea Turtle Rescued After Getting Stuck in Fishing Net on Patong Beach

A sea turtle has been rescued after it became stuck in a fishing net on Patong Beach.

Patong Lifeguards told the Phuket Express that on Wednesday afternoon (June 28th) they found the sea turtle which was still alive stuck in a fishing net. The sea turtle had been washed up on to Patong Beach.

They and beach operators helped to slowly remove the fishing net from the turtle. Wounds were not found on the turtle and it was still healthy. The turtle was released back to the sea.
