Fire Destroys Beach Beds on Patong Beach at Night – VIDEO

A mysterious fire has destroyed dozens of beach beds on Patong beach overnight.

The Phuket Tourist Police told the Phuket Express that after midnight June 19th they were notified of the fire at Patong Beach near the Banana Walk. The Phuket Tourist Police and the Patong fire fighters quickly arrived at the scene with a single fire engine.

The fire was found heavily ablaze at a pile of beach beds. A large electrical box nearby was also damaged which caused a blackout in a nearby area along the beach. The fire was finally put out and no injuries were reported.

The exact cause of the fire is still being investigated as of press time.
