Driver Injured and Eight Vehicles Damaged after Minivan Crashes into Patong Shop

Patong –

A driver sustained injuries after his minivan crashed into a power pole and a shop in Patong. In total eight vehicles were damaged in the incident.

Emergency responders were notified of the accident at 9:30 P.M. on Thursday night (June 1st) on the Ratch Uthit 200 Pi Road in front the OTOP Market in Patong.

They arrived at the scene to find that a minivan had crashed into a power pole and a shop. The driver, whose name was not released, had sustained several injuries. He was taken to a nearby hospital.

There were no passengers inside the minivan during the accident. The unidentified shop, five motorbikes, and two sedans which were parked nearby were also damaged.

The Patong Police are continuing their investigation for consideration of further potential legal action.
