Truck Crashes into Krabi Pharmacy, Brake Failure Blamed

Krabi –

A driver blamed brake failure after a track crashed into a pharmacy in Mueang Krabi.

The Mueang Krabi Police were notified of the accident on Tuesday afternoon (May 2nd) on Sri Trang Road at Talad Gao Intersection in Krabi Yai. They arrived at the scene to find a truck had crashed into a local pharmacy. The pharmacy was damaged but thankfully no injuries were reported.

The truck driver, Mr. Sirisak Chaiudom, 50, told The Phuket Express that he was unable to brake when the truck was going down from a slope. He decided to crash into the side of the road instead of into other vehicles at red lights.

The truck company, who wasn’t immediately named by Mueang Krabi police, has reportedly taken responsibility for all damages to the pharmacy.
