Man Arrested in Patong for Allegedly Illegally Selling Cannabis Buds

A man was arrested in Patong for allegedly illegally selling cannabis buds and being unable to present a legal license for selling cannabis.

On Thursday night (April 13th) a team from the Phuket Provincial Public Health Office and the Patong Police inspected cannabis shops in the Patong area. The Phuket Provincial Public Health Office told the Phuket Express that Mr. Prem Peetiraksakun, 43, was found with cannabis buds at his shop. He was unable to present a legal license for selling cannabis.

Mr. Prem was taken to the Patong Police Station to face charges with selling controlled herbs (cannabis buds) without permission and operating a cannabis shop without permission.
