Solar Cell Light Poles to Be Installed Along Kamala Beach Road

Kamala –

Solar cell light poles will be installed along Kamala Beach road.

The President of the Kamala Sub-District Organization Administration (SOA), Mr. Jutha Dumluck, told the Phuket Express that the province has supported a 2,967,000 Baht budget to develop Kamala for tourism.

Mr. Jutha told the Phuket Express that they have plans to install 43 sets of solar cell poles along Kamala Beach road (Layi – Naka Lay Road) in Kamala. The installation is expected to be done by September of next year, 2024.

Many locals and tourists are using the road which currently does not have enough lights and has caused many road accidents. When the light poles project has been completed, this will increase the safety for road users as well as improve the connection between communities for a better economy and tourism said Jutha.
