Patong –

Alcohol vendors were found selling illegally on Bangla Road in the early morning time according to local residents.

Our previous story:

Selling alcohol in foam boxes by vendors or pop-up style alcohol booths must be banned as this is illegal. The Bangla Road is a public road and one cannot sell alcohol on the road.

An unidentified local resident who was driving on the Bangla Road told the Phuket Express that at 6:00 A.M. this morning (January 26th) some alcohol vendors were selling alcohol to foreign tourists with tables and chairs for customers on the road.

Locals are calling authorities to investigate and crackdown on the issue.
