Man rescued from drowning at Kamala Beach

A Thai man has been rescued from drowning at Kamala Beach.

Kamala emergency responders told the Phuket Express that they were notified of the incident today (December 30th) at 10:52 A.M. at Kamala Beach.

They arrived at the scene to find the Thai man aged 26. He is a boat crew member who fell into the sea near the beach while he was tying rope on a boat.

Rescue workers provided CPR for about two minutes before his pulse came back and he became conscious. He was rushed to a local hospital.

The man’s name was withheld by rescue workers.
